Brooklyn Communities Collaborative Partners with Resilia to Strengthen Nonprofit Organizations

Partnership to focus on organizations building health, wealth, and equity in Brooklyn

New Orleans, La. - Resilia, a social enterprise with offices in New Orleans and New York City, and Brooklyn Communities Collaborative (BCC) have partnered to strengthen the capacity of nonprofit community organizations in Brooklyn, New York.

Resilia will provide BCC-supported nonprofits with 1:1 live coaching, peer-to-peer learning programs, and unlimited access to Resilia’s online training and resource platform to help build leadership, advance operations, and maximize community impact.

BCC focuses on strengthening health, wealth, and leadership in Brooklyn communities. Leveraging the power of anchor institutions and the knowledge of community members, BCC convenes and supports stakeholders to collaborate, integrate services, build resources, and inform the policies and practices that most affect health and well-being.

“We are excited to offer Resilia’s platform and programs to our nonprofit partners,” said Shari Suchoff, BCC Executive Director.

“By strengthening organizational capabilities and offering tailored assistance, Resilia will enable our partners to achieve their goals and increase their positive impact on the communities they serve”.

“We admire the mission of Brooklyn Communities Collaborative, which has been helping uplift people in Brooklyn for over a decade,” said Resilia CEO and Founder Sevetri Wilson. “We are proud to partner in support of organizations doing critical work in their communities.”

Through the partnership, Brooklyn Communities Collaborative has also joined Resilia’s Elevate initiative, a first-of-its-kind national learning and action network of 40+ funders aimed at elevating the capacity and voices of BIPOC-led and BIPOC-serving grassroots organizations.
