How the Funder Program Supports United Ways

Funder Dashboard

The Funder Dashboard follows trust-based philanthropy principles to provide funders cohort-level data on their nonprofit partners’ program usage.

The dashboard helps funders understand where additional support is needed for their nonprofit partners. By utilizing the Funder Dashboard, funders can inform future grantmaking, reduce their own administrative burden, and no longer need to over-survey nonprofits to understand their needs.

Funder Academy

Funder Academy helps funders enhance grantmaking processes and augment their relationships with nonprofit partners. Access over 50 pieces of content on important topics such as Communications, Data & Impact, DEI, Grant Management, People Operations, Philanthropy, and Technology Solutions.

Funder Network - Elevate

All funders sponsoring the Resilia program for their nonprofit partners are eligible to participate in Elevate, a community of 60+ grantmakers dedicated to centering the voices and expertise of BIPOC-led and serving grassroots organizations.

What Our United Way Partners Are Saying

  • “There is no shortage of highly impactful BIPOC leaders in the nonprofit sector and they deserve access to the opportunities that have always been made available for their white peers. Since 2018, United Way of the Greater Triangle has focused on addressing racial, gender, and power disparities in nonprofit leadership. Through this partnership with Resilia, we’re excited to provide these leaders access to the tools they need to go even further, at no cost to them.”

United Way of the Greater Triangle

  • “We couldn’t be more excited to partner with Resilia and offer each BLPP applicant and grantee capacity building in many areas that they have told us that they need help. In addition, other BIPOC-led organizations funded by the Humana Foundation, Community Foundation of Louisville and the Office of Safe and Healthy Neighborhoods will receive coaching, training and capacity-building from Resilia. This highlights our commitment to Black leaders leading innovative movements to create positive, sustainable change in our seven-county region.”

    Adria Johnson

  • “Providing grants to support programs will always be a part of our investment strategy. In addition, ensuring that our partners have the bandwidth and capacity to sustain themselves and the impact of their programs strengthens the power of those investments.”
