Islamic Relief USA Partners with Resilia to Strengthen Refugee Resettlement Nonprofits Throughout the U.S.

Partnership will help supported grassroots nonprofits build their capabilities

New Orleans, La. - Resilia, a social enterprise with offices in New Orleans and New York City, and Islamic Relief USA (IRUSA) have come together to strengthen the capacity of grassroots refugee resettlement nonprofits nationwide. The supported nonprofits will receive access to Resilia’s 1:1 coaching, online resource platform, and peer learning programs to build their mission-facing and back-office capabilities. 

Islamic Relief USA provides relief and development in a dignified manner regardless of gender, race, or religion. It empowers individuals in their communities and gives them a voice in the world. From offering a helping hand at border crossings to delivering aid like food, water, clothes, and medical care, to relieving refugees in their new setting — Islamic Relief has established education resources, vocational training, and livelihood opportunities for newly settled refugees and those waiting to return home.
