The Healing Trust Partners with Resilia to Strengthen Nonprofits in Middle Tennessee Communities
Partnership to focus on capacity-building support and on-demand technical assistance to BIPOC-led nonprofits and changemakers across Middle Tennessee
New Orleans, La. - Resilia, a social enterprise with offices in New Orleans and New York City, is partnering with The Healing Trust to empower and support BIPOC-led and serving grassroots nonprofit organizations.
In addition to its commitment to equity, The Healing Trust leads with a “beyond grantmaking” approach to philanthropy, providing unique programs and opportunities to increase nonprofits' capacity and improve Middle Tennesseans' health.
In partnership with The Healing Trust, Resilia will build and sustain a scalable program to make critical capacity-building support and on-demand technical assistance available to early-stage and under-resourced BIPOC-led nonprofits and changemakers across Tennessee.
"Collaboration and building nonprofit capacity are important to The Healing Trust,” comments Samuel Jackson, Vice President of Programs and Grants. “Partnering with Resilia supports our nonprofit partners’ growth, provides our partners with a space to share ideas, and helps strengthen our communities."
"We’re excited to partner with The Healing Trust," said Sevetri Wilson, CEO, and founder of Resilia. “Together, we’ll support and sustain a diverse group of grassroots organizations that work every day to promote equity, eliminate racial disparities in healthcare, and help communities thrive.”
Through the partnership, The Healing Trust has joined Resilia's Elevate initiative, a first-of-its-kind national learning and action network of 50+ funders dedicated to elevating the capacity and voices of BIPOC-led and serving nonprofit organizations.
