Allegany Franciscan Ministries Partners with Resilia to Strengthen Grassroots Organizations
Initiative to focus on providing beyond-the-check support to organizations with an equity lens
New Orleans, La. - Resilia, a social enterprise with offices in New Orleans and New York City, and Allegany Franciscan Ministries have come together to strengthen the capacity of community-based organizations.
Allegany Franciscan Ministries is a non-profit Catholic organization, rooted in the tradition and vision of the Franciscan Sisters of Allegany. A member of Trinity Health, they provide grants and work with community partners in three regions of Florida formerly served by the Sisters’ hospitals: Miami-Dade County, Palm Beach, Martin and St. Lucie Counties, and the Tampa Bay area of Hillsborough and Pinellas Counties.
Through the partnership with Resilia, Allegany Franciscan Ministries will offer additional support "beyond the check" to community-based and grassroots organizations seeking capacity-building with an equity lens.
“Allegany Franciscan Ministries is thrilled to partner with Resilia to better serve our grant partners. Our grant partners are the anchors of our communities, and we are committed to supporting their organizational health and resilience. We believe this experience will be transformative for our partners and we look forward to witnessing their growth,” said Brittney Fraizer, Grants Officer and Strategic Initiative Officer.
“Allegany Franciscan Ministries’ core values of reverence, justice, and integrity deeply align with Resilia’s mission to serve and uplift our most vulnerable communities,” says Resilia CEO and founder Sevetri Wilson. “We are honored to partner with Allegany Franciscan Ministries to help strengthen changemakers focused on achieving equity throughout Florida.”
