The Bristol Myers Squibb Foundation Collaborates with Resilia to Strengthen Health Equity Organizations

Collaboration to provide support through capacity-building technology and 1:1 nonprofit coaching

New Orleans, La. - Resilia, a “tech-for-good” social enterprise with offices in New Orleans and New York City, and the Bristol Myers Squibb Foundation have come together to strengthen the capacity of community-based nonprofits advocating for more equitable access to healthcare and quality treatment for historically marginalized communities.

With a belief that geographic, economic, racial, or social circumstances should not determine health outcomes, the Bristol Myers Squibb Foundation’s mission is to promote health equity and improve the health of vulnerable communities burdened by serious diseases. Its grant-making empowers partners to build innovative community-based solutions to improve access to quality healthcare. The Foundation invests in creative solutions, new approaches, and inventive concepts to advance health equity, enabling its nonprofit grantees to explore their effectiveness and develop data demonstrating their value.

“The Bristol Myers Squibb Foundation is thrilled to partner with Resilia to provide our grantee partners with a diverse suite of tools and resources to empower their teams and maximize their impact.” - Adrienne Gonzalez, Senior Director, the Bristol Myers Squibb Foundation.

"We are excited to join the Bristol Myers Squibb Foundation in their critical work to ensure more equitable access to quality healthcare," said Ash Didwania, Chief Partnership & Revenue Officer, Resilia. “Together, we will strengthen the capacity of their nonprofit grantees committed to serving historically marginalized communities and achieving meaningful impact.”

The Bristol Myers Squibb Foundation has joined Resilia's Elevate initiative, a national learning and action network of 60+ grantmakers focused on elevating the capacity and voices of Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC)-led and serving organizations.
