Joining Resilia may have been a consolation prize from The Communities Foundation of Texas, but for Finding Independence it has been closer to winning the lottery!
Over the past nine months, Finding Independence has participated in many Webinars, Donations Workshops, Individual Counseling Sessions, email exchanges, and published a Story illustrating our results. Multiple board members and staff have taken advantage of Academy Resources. With all this, there are still Resilia features we plan to explore and put into practice, such as Project Planning and Documentation for data analysis.
Most of our interactions with Resilia explored ways to improve our outreach and increase donations from individuals. We consulted with coaches to improve our Donate webpage, and specifically about our outreach message for North Texas Giving Day. We can’t know for certain, but we believe our page on the NTGD site influenced the Bhatia Foundation to give us a donation of $5,000! The first unrestricted funds in that amount in our history!
