Helping Funders Across the Northeast Strengthen Nonprofit Ecosystems, Equitably

Through a combination of an online platform, 1:1 nonprofit coaching and peer-to-peer learning, funders across the Northeast are supporting their nonprofit partners in building mission-facing and back office capacity in a manner that best suits them. Resilia partners with a wide variety of funders across the Northeast including community foundations, United Ways, corporations, and more to build the capacity of the nonprofits on the ground serving historically marginalized communities.

About The Program

Equitable Access to Capacity-Building Resources

Northeast funders sponsor the Resilia program for their grantees, nonprofit partners, and fiscally sponsored organizations to enable three entry points into comprehensive capacity-building resources. Nonprofit partners then get to decide what support they need, how and when, depending on their organizational needs, urgency, and preferred mode of support.

What Our Northeast Foundation Partners Are Saying

  • “The Community Foundation for Greater New Haven and the Valley Community Foundation are grateful for the partnership with Resilia. It enables us to provide a rich array of capacity-building resources to a group of grassroots organizations who would otherwise not have the same kind of access to the tools that can help them strengthen and grow. The ongoing support offered to the organizations, and the communication between the Resilia team and our foundations have created outstanding relationships.”

    Jackie Downing

Community Foundation for Greater New Haven

  • “G4GC is excited to partner with Resilia to offer our incredible grantee partners the support and tools they so richly deserve. We truly believe that Resilia offers a set of resources typically unavailable to our grantees, who represent organizations that have been historically underinvested in. We are so proud to partner with a Black-woman-owned company that truly understands the needs of our communities.”

Resilia’s nonprofit centric approach allows them to be a resource that holistically builds organizational capacity. Their on-demand trainings, tools and 1:1 coaching caters to leaders’ availability and needs, being responsive to many of the challenges that the sector is facing today. We are excited for our nonprofit partners to benefit from this platform, especially BIPOC leaders that are doing crucial work on the ground in our communities."

  • “We are thrilled to partner with Resilia on innovative initiatives to strengthen nonprofit organizations. Particularly those led by leaders of color, through a unique combination of on-demand technical assistance, coaching and peer learning. Leaders of color who are proximate to the communities they serve have a demonstrated track record of generating outsized impact, so increasing the capacity of these leaders and their organizations is a clear way to improve outcomes in our region.”
