Making the bus go as efficiently as possible

"Resilia has been a blessing! Being a new startup, setting up the infrastructure for our organization was a priority. We wanted to create an environment that embodied safety, where our community members felt held, seen, and heard while also cultivating a company culture that evoked empowerment and courage to fully express their uniqueness as well as their many diversified voices.

Resilia provided our organization with an ‘all-in-one’ platform that provided services such as coaching, fundraising, policies and additional resources that would take more time to research if we had done these separately. When we had questions regarding onboarding our members on the board of directors, the coaches gave us insightful and helpful advice along with online courses for training those members.

As a founder and CEO, our main focus is providing for our community, which leaves little time and space for us to center on infrastructure building. It is because of this that we falter much of the time in becoming successful due to investing so much of that time in seeking funding to build those areas up. It almost feels like we’re building in ‘reverse’ when providing community support for our marginalized communities.

In using services like Resilia, in essence, we are learning how to put the right people in the right seats to make the bus go as efficiently as possible."
